Mike Caro and the Future of Poker
Poker is a game of people and personalities. There are a few personalities out there that do more than affect the game from the table - these people change the game for the better because of their behind the scenes actions and efforts. Mike Caro is one of those amazing and talented personalities. The man was born in Motana in 1944 and would grow up to become one of the greatest influences in the world of poker, as well as a skilled player in his own right.
Mike Caro, as well as changing the world of poker, is also one who has published a number of books on the topic. This wasn't enough for him, as he also went and produced and made numerous videos on the game of poker, serving as supplemental and complementary media for the aforementioned books. This influence has allowed them to take on responsibilities in poker, such as being an editor-in-chief for the poker magazine "Poker Player" and even ending up an editor for "Gambling Times". Both stations are no joke for any one and Mike Caro is a man who has earned his place.
The Mike Caro University of Poker adds another bullet-point to his ever growing list of achievements. Poker Probe, a program developed and made to examine and dissect various poker situations, was another one of his many important and vital brainchildren. Mike Caro would also be one of the first pioneers to see the power of the internet when it comes to poker. Mike Caro would figure out that money could actually be made off online poker tables, viewing them as more than distractions or mere games. He would even postulate that perhaps, more people would play online than at the casinos as time goes by.
Mike Caro continues to contribute to the world of poker and thus, has a bright future for him in the cards.
